Our Story: Family, Quality, and American Pride
For over 35 years, Jamestown Advanced Products has been a proud name in American manufacturing, rooted in quality and family values. Founded in 1987 in Jamestown, New York, by Jon Wehrenberg, our business began as a humble fabrication shop with a dedication to craftsmanship. Just two years later, Jon’s daughter, Wendi Lodestro, joined him, bringing the next generation into the fold. By 1991, Wendi’s husband, Lee, had come on board as well, contributing his engineering expertise.
In 1994, Jon and his wife took to the open road, traveling the country and camping along the way. As they explored America’s campgrounds, Jon saw an opportunity — the campground equipment they used could be made better, right here in Jamestown. By 1995, we proudly launched our own line of campground and park products, made with the same dedication to quality that defined our family business.
In 1999, Wendi and Lee bought the company, continuing the family legacy after Jon’s retirement. Under their leadership, Jamestown Advanced Products has flourished, with sales and employment doubling. As a woman-owned, family-run business, we remain committed to producing top-quality, American-made products. From campground and park equipment to custom sheet metal fabrications and electro-static powder coating, a new wireless smart metering system, SiteSync, our dedication to excellence is at the heart of everything we do.
